Herman Cain Suspends His Presidential Campaign

The end result was inevitable. I certainly saw it coming early in the game, though I admit I thought his political novice and completely lack of foreign policy knowledge would do him in, not a sex scandal. Considering his apparent belief said sex scandals would not derail his candidacy, one could argue his political naivete still did him in.

I must reiterate my amazement a candidate for president can propose a tax plan that will raise the tax burden for 84% of taxpayers and proudly proclaim he does not need to know the Taliban does not rule Libya in order to be president, but it is a sex scandal that ultimately cooks his goose. Is sex thing only thing that will convince people to pay attention to civics? No wonder ignorant ideologues like Barack Obama become political leaders.

On a personal note, I would like to say I let unfair criticism slide, but I am an arrogant and petty jackass, so to all those Cain supporters who told me to stick with posting celebrities photos and Star Trek and leave the serious political commentary to you big boys and girls: Hey, if they think you are immature and ignorant anyway, might as well give them what they expect.
